Paper sensors for Bela (2018)
Bela is a platform for creating responsive interactive musical instruments. I worked with a team at Queen Mary, University of London, to develop “Embelashed” – a toolkit for protopying interactive wearables. In the project my role was to design paper circuitry systems that can be used by people wanting to make quick and simple sensors with the Bela Mini (lead by Becky Stewart). I also worked on the designs for the “paper caplet” which is a circuit board that attaches to the Bela Mini to provides electrical connections with paper sensors.
