Embelashed

Paper sensors (2018)

Embelashed is a platform for making low latency responsive interactive musical instruments with paper and textile crafts.

I worked with the Bela team at Queen Mary’s University of London (led by Becky Stewart), to develop the Embelashed toolkit for prototyping interactive crafts and wearables. My role was to design accessible paper circuitry systems and interfaces that could be used by people wanting to make quick and simple sensors with Bela Mini. I also worked on the designs for the “paper caplet” which is a circuit board that attaches to the Bela Mini to provides electrical connections with paper sensors.
